These transcripts are going up mostly unedited. To skip to the beginnings of the actual games, look for the line in bold.
TalkingDog has entered.
Granger has entered.
Granger: Hello!
Sessie has entered.
* Sessie tries to remember how to sign out of Pyrook o_O
[RinkChat] The chat room's topic has been changed to 'Enter the world of Prismanon. TD&D begins soonish?' by TalkingDog.
* Granger gets psyched!
TalkingDog: That name is kinda corny, but I'm keeping it.
Granger: I named my halfling "Granger Goodwicket" This setting is ideal.
Granger: Are you going to change your name, TD?
TalkingDog: Nah. At least not for today.
* Granger nods.
TalkingDog: come on foooood
TalkingDog: food time!
SaraFoster has entered.
SaraFoster: Hooray!
Granger: Hello Sara!
SaraFoster: Hello. :)
* SaraFoster takes a moment to get into character
Poppy has entered.
Poppy: YAY!
* Poppy bounces on the balls of her feet
SaraFoster: hehe
Sessie has left.
Granger: Hello Poppy!
Poppy: Hi Granger!
* Granger fills out his profile.
* SaraFoster does likewise
TothicNinewood has entered.
* Poppy cranes her neck, tilting her head skyward
Poppy: Hiya Tothic!
* TothicNinewood nods.
* SaraFoster sits quietly, watching the chipper halflings greet the large warrior.
TothicNinewood: Hello.
Granger: Good evening, Mister Ninewood.
TothicNinewood: 'Evening.
* SaraFoster has finished fiddling with her profile.
Granger: (Everyone got their rules .pdfs and their character sheets and their, um, ability to type /roll?)
SaraFoster: (I do! I wish the stupid pdf were searchable though.)
Poppy: (lol, yes yes and yes!)
Poppy: (Is yours not? Mine is...)
Granger: (You can search by keyword, at least on the reader I'm using)
TothicNinewood: (Yes. Is this how we talk when "out of Character?)
SaraFoster: (Seems like the best way.)
Poppy: (I'm assuming, lol)
SaraFoster: (I'm nervous now. My hands are all sweaty.)
Granger: (I guess so. That's what I intended to do.)
Poppy: (Me too! But I'm super excited too. :D)
SaraFoster: (Anybody else keep getting surprised by somebody with a different name saying the same thing as you? Then realizing that IS you?)
Poppy: (LOL)
Granger: (A little!)
TothicNinewood: (What do we use for asides or whispering? How about we use {} for out of character?)
SaraFoster: <This is easier to reach>
Granger: {That's fine with me.}
TothicNinewood: <which one}]?
Granger: [Okay, let's put it to a vote.]
TothicNinewood: {}[]<>
TalkingDog: hoo. Okay. Food eaten.
SaraFoster: <TD are you laughing at us yet?>
Poppy: <I vote these, for the reason Sara/Goosey mentioned>
Poppy: <lol>
Granger: [], {}. (), or <>?
TalkingDog: I tend to put anything spoken in quotes and leave everything else alone.
SaraFoster: LOL that might be easier.
Granger: Okay.
Poppy: Pff, you and your logic.
TalkingDog: hehe
Granger: How about emotes, then?
TalkingDog: Okay. uh. gaem. yes.
Granger: Should those be only for in-character actions?
TothicNinewood: HuZZAH!
Poppy: GAEM!
Granger: Hip-hip hooray!
SaraFoster: Granger: probably
TalkingDog: Just wing it, I say.
SaraFoster: YAY GAME
SaraFoster: If we get confused, we can always ask and clarify.
TalkingDog: Speaking of winging it, I didn't make any pre-typed flavor for this, so if I'm quiet for a while, I'm probably typing.
TothicNinewood: {[<Redsang is geeking out>]}
Poppy: lol, 'kay
TalkingDog: hehe
Granger: No problem.
* SaraFoster transcribes
* Poppy may roll her real-world dice too even though only the /rolls will count, just for the ambient noise
SaraFoster: LOL
TothicNinewood: nice
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 50d20: 10 + 15 + 14 + 4 + 13 + 13 + 8 + 9 + 9 + 17 + 6 + 5 + 15 + 3 + 3 + 14 + 14 + 16 + 7 + 12 + 9 + 8 + 14 + 5 + 6 + 17 + 8 + 6 + 1 + 5 + 2 + 8 + 10 + 16 + 5 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 3 + 20 + 9 + 10 + 8 + 6 + 12 + 19 + 18 + 3 + 19 + 14 = 477
SaraFoster: stoppit
TothicNinewood: Win!
SaraFoster: lol
TothicNinewood: Sorry. Calming down.
Poppy: hehe
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d1: 1 = 1
Poppy: LOL
Granger: Also known as dropping a marble.
SaraFoster: Imagine that irl, red stands up and rains d20s down upon the table triumphantly
TothicNinewood: :)
Poppy: hahaha
TothicNinewood: lol
SaraFoster: .... that would make a great noise
* Poppy is giggling herself to bits, partly out of amusement and a little bit out of nerves
SaraFoster: LOL
Granger: It would be like Fireball Island. Any figures you knock over with your dice are actually hit by the action you're rolling for.
Poppy: 1d1 = Moebius Die
Poppy: LOL, I like it
TothicNinewood: Whoa.
TalkingDog: So. In the story I started to tell before, the people having a drink in the Old Waterin' Hole were starting to grumble about the useless cowardly guards. The town of Oakwater doesn't have a lot of coin to spend on people who are both brave and capable. The town needs heroes. And you four are easily the most capable in the tavern...
SaraFoster: Sad story.
SaraFoster: Four greatest heroes . . . not 1 XP between them.
Poppy: lol
TothicNinewood: !
Granger: I'd like to search for wanted posters.
TalkingDog: The barmaid, Penny, happens to know each of you, and when she can get your ears away from the loud and obnoxious crowd long enough, she offers to start a tip jar for your heroics if you band together and do some good for the town.
Poppy: I could do some good!
Granger: "That sounds like a fine idea! Get paid by the public!"
* TothicNinewood thinks about it.
SaraFoster: "Did you have something in mind for us to start with?"
Granger: "But still, where do you think we should start?"
* TothicNinewood listens in.
Granger: "Ah, what the good cleric said."
* Poppy kicks her feet back and forth excitedly as they dangle off the barstool a good 30 inches or so up from the floor
TalkingDog: Penny: "I suggest listening to people chatter. Word gets around about every sort of happening in this town. If there's trouble, someone will shout about it before long. If it were me, I'd enjoy a walk around town under the guise of being on patrol. It's about as much as the guards do."
Granger: "A delightful way to start!"
* Granger tips Penny 2cp
SaraFoster: "Well . . . I know the temple could use more help in providing for those who have been left homeless. We could go around and try to collect donations?"
Poppy: "I got my walkin' feet on and my listenin' ears...attached."
TalkingDog: She nods and winks in your direction.
TothicNinewood: {DM - do we already know eachother? Have we agreed to adventure together?}
Granger: "As long as we're divvying the rewards of our good deeds equally, I'm entirely copacetic."
TalkingDog: You can decide if you know each other already. If not, then you probably are at least familiar with each other's faces, all being occasional patrons of this fine establishment.
SaraFoster: (I'm playing like we've maybe seen each other around, but are just grouped together for the first time now, trusting Penny's judgement)
Granger: My character is not averse to going off with a bunch of acquiantances on the spur of the moment to fight crime.
* SaraFoster looks at the others to see what they think of her idea.
TothicNinewood: "I'd rather walk the boarder to see the situation."
* TalkingDog is half being distracted by people and half studying some of the rules a bit.
TalkingDog: I think I'll ask everyone what they're doing for the next hour.
Poppy: "What Granger said! ...if what Granger said is 'I'm in as long as we share.'"
SaraFoster: lol
Poppy: "I think that's what he said."
Granger: "I think the best way to improve the community is to lower the crime rate a bit. Then we can use whatever the grateful citizenry wishes to reward us to do as we see fit, yes?"
TalkingDog: Everyone meaning everyone here.
TalkingDog: Then we can start rolling some dice.
SaraFoster: "Then I'll go and collect donations, and see if I hear of any situation we might be able to help with? We can meet back here in an hour?"
TalkingDog: Has Granger prepared spells today?
Granger: "Now your donation idea has got a lot of promise, Miss Foster, but you have to advertise your effectiveness before you begin passing the hat around."
Granger: TD: Yes. Sleep and Magic Missile are rattling around in my head.
TalkingDog: In case you missed it earlier: I'm pretty sure you don't need to prepare your cantrips.
TothicNinewood: "I agree with Granger. Let's go see where the trouble is and do something about it."
Granger: TD: Yeah, I understand cantrips now.
* SaraFoster sighs and figures she might as well follow everybody else wandering aimlessly around the city doing nothing else until they bump into crime.
Granger: (It seems a little OP, since some of them do damage!)
TalkingDog: Well, you can prepare 3 more.
TalkingDog: Though you can only cast 2 of them in a day.
Granger: "Hey now, we might bump into anything! If there's a homeless lass or fellow out there, I promise I'll take them back to Ilo's temple even if I have to drag 'em. How about that?"
Granger: TD: Okay.
TalkingDog: hehe. Anyways, if you're just goin' a wanderin', it'll be a Wis Perception check to keep your eye out for trouble. If Sara's asking around for donations, she'll roll Cha Persuasion instead.
Poppy: "I think I might tag along with you, Sara, if that's okay?"
TothicNinewood: "Let's start with the marketplace. Sure to be people talking there."
SaraFoster: Sara smiles. "I would like that very much!"
Granger: TD: Sleep, MM, Detect Magic, Burning Hands & Mage Armor are prepared, then.
TothicNinewood: "Fine. You go with Sara and I'll take Granger. Back here in 1 hour?"
SaraFoster: Okay . . . 1d20+Persuasion AND Cha?
* Poppy grins back at Sara
TalkingDog: The marketplace is on the east side of town. On the east side of most towns, in fact. The religions of this world, while numbering in potentially the thousands, often subscribe to a pantheon of 4 that correspond to cardinal direction. The gods of the sun are said to be the most prosperous, and people build their shops on that notion.
SaraFoster: Awesome :D
TothicNinewood: :)
* TothicNinewood heads east with Granger.
Granger: What time of day is it now?
TalkingDog: I'm gonna say afternoonish.
Granger: Gotcha.
TalkingDog: If you have Persuasion as a skill, it's 1d20+Cha+2.
* SaraFoster and Poppy head to the more prosperous residential part of town to go door-to-door
TalkingDog: I don't have the sheets open right now.
Granger: Do I roll perception since I'm actually looking for trouble?
Poppy: Cha would be the Cha modifier?
TalkingDog: I should open them.
TalkingDog: Right.
TalkingDog: Granger: Yarp.
Poppy: Okay...and I also have Persuasion as expertise. Is that still +2?
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+1: 12 = 12, modified by 1 = 13
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20+4: 1 = 1, modified by 4 = 5
SaraFoster: Oh ew
TalkingDog: That's the +2, yeah.
SaraFoster: Maybe Poppy will have better lucky.
TalkingDog: Oh, sorry. Yeah, you get the extra +2 for expertise.
SaraFoster: *luck
TothicNinewood: {should I be rolling something?}
Poppy: eek, one sec, need to look up dice syntax again
Granger: That +1 is my Wis modifier.
TalkingDog: /roll 1d20+whatever
Poppy: But how do you get the "modified by #"?
TalkingDog: That's the +whatever
Poppy: OH
SaraFoster: lol
Poppy: i can't read, sorry
Poppy: lol
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d20: 19 = 19
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+4: 7 = 7, modified by 4 = 11
Granger: "xdy+z" is what you type after /roll
SaraFoster: Um, Sara is letting Poppy do most of the talking. Yeah.
SaraFoster: >.>
Poppy: hehe
TalkingDog: Tothic gets +1 to Wisdom, so that's a 20.
* Poppy can totally do that
SaraFoster: Noice Tothic
Poppy: Yay!
TothicNinewood: {oh. thought I was rolling Charisma}
TalkingDog: You went with Granger to look for trouble?
TalkingDog: Cha was for the two collecting donations.
TothicNinewood: yes.
TothicNinewood: copy
SaraFoster: I'd say with that roll if there was trouble to be found, Tothic found it, haha.
Poppy: lol
TalkingDog: They didn't get a lot of attention, sadly. They got one confused woman who thinks she's donating to help sick animals, who donates a whopping 30 copper.
Poppy: aww
SaraFoster: lol aww. Do I add that to my purse?
TalkingDog: Surely.
TothicNinewood: :)
SaraFoster: I love your spreadsheet magic here, hehe. No math for Goosey!
Poppy: wait wait wait...did I add the right modifier?
TalkingDog: Oh, right. Tothic should have rolled twice because he gets advantage on perception checks. Not that you're going to do much better.
SaraFoster: "Some collection days are like that, Poppy. Thanks for your help."
* TalkingDog opens the dang sheets like he said he would.
Poppy: lol
SaraFoster: lol
TothicNinewood: {I'll stay with 20}
TalkingDog: Advantage means you roll twice and take whichever's better.
TalkingDog: And disadvantage is the opposite.
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d20+1: 14 = 14, modified by 1 = 15
Granger: Sorry mine's such a mess.
TalkingDog: It's fine.
TalkingDog: Poppy rolled the right thing.
TalkingDog: I think.
Poppy: hehe okay
TalkingDog: Oh, nope. You get +2 more, but it doesn't help any.
Poppy: (darn)
SaraFoster: lol
Poppy: Ohhh...well. lol
SaraFoster: "Don't feel bad. I couldn't even get her to open the door."
* Poppy hugs Sara's knees
Poppy: "We'll get 'em next time!"
SaraFoster: LOL Sara isn't THAT tall!
Poppy: LOL
Poppy: Okay okay.
TothicNinewood: :0
Poppy: I guess I'm taller than a foot, too
TothicNinewood: *:)
SaraFoster: Yes yes you are hahaha
SaraFoster: You probably come up to about her chest.
Granger: Average halfling size is 3'.
* Poppy HUGS Sara at whatever level she happens to be!
SaraFoster: hehehe
Poppy: Okay, so you're only maybe a foot, foot and a half taller than me. lol
TalkingDog: Tothic's half-elven ears pick up that something's going on at the west end of town. "A guard came running down the street yelling for help just now. Anyone see where he went?" says a random bystander.
Poppy: wait
Poppy: two feet.
Poppy: anyway
Granger: "Forget where he went, you came from the west, you say?"
Granger: *he came from the west
TothicNinewood: "No. What's going on?"
Granger: "We can't let this opportunity pass us by, Mr. Ninewood! If we go where he was coming from, surely we'll find more about what got him so spooked."
TalkingDog: "I been right here, but I saw the guy run past without his weapon. Somethin' scared him good, I think."
Poppy: <Where are Sara and I at this point? Have we met back up with Granger and Ninewood?>
TothicNinewood: "Yeah. Let's go."
SaraFoster: <We're on our way back to the tavern. DM's call if we run into people again>
TothicNinewood: {action happening simultaniously?}
TalkingDog: This is probably happening on your way back to the tavern.
Poppy: <ok>
Granger: Okay, we hurry off in the direction from which the guard came.
TalkingDog: Everyone roll an Int Religion check.
* TothicNinewood and Granger run toward the west.
TothicNinewood: {how?}
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20+6: 15 = 15, modified by 6 = 21
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+4: 17 = 17, modified by 4 = 21
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20: 13 = 13
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d20+1: 10 = 10, modified by 1 = 11
SaraFoster: 20+your Int score+if you have religion as a skill, add that modifier as well, right?
TalkingDog: You add +2 if you have it as a skill.
SaraFoster: Oh. What are the numbers by my skills for then?
TalkingDog: Right.
SaraFoster: My roll is 19 then.
Granger: Without the skill, for religion, it's just your Int. modifier.
SaraFoster: (Religion says +4 next to it. So I added 4 to my Int's 2)
SaraFoster: (so I took 2 off)
TalkingDog: Granger and Sara both know that the west side of town are where the stranger religions erect their temples. West represents the gods of the night, darkness, death, and so on. People tend to bury their dead on the west side of town.
SaraFoster: eek
Granger: Everybody's gotta go sometime.
Granger: Sometimes several times, in fact.
SaraFoster: Gods of death and darkness are creepy sometimes though.
TothicNinewood: :)
TalkingDog: Most gods of death are benevolent. They don't mean to kill. They only mean to guard the dead or to usher them to their personal place of rest.
* TothicNinewood readys his hand axes as he moves west
SaraFoster: Okay. They're good then.
Granger: Right. They're the ones you go to so that your relatives aren't made into zombies or anything.
Granger: ...I'm assuming.
SaraFoster: Okay, so Sara and Poppy are on their way back, chatting.
TalkingDog: Unless you're doing anything else, you all arrive back at the tavern.
Granger: Is the tavern right in the center of town?
TothicNinewood: I thought Granger and I were headed West.
* Poppy is a wee bit downtrodden from the meager collections
TalkingDog: Around center, yeah.
TothicNinewood: ok
TalkingDog: You'll want to let the others know where you're going, I figured.
Maryam has entered.
* Granger is somewhat winded but too excited to let it stop him.
TalkingDog: hai
SaraFoster: Hi Maryam! Come to watch?
TalkingDog: A wild Maryam appears.
Poppy: Maryams!
SaraFoster: lol
Granger: "Poppy, Miss Foster! There's something big going down on the west side of town! This could be our big break!"
Maryam: Heh, yeah, I thought I'd pop in and check it out.
Granger: (Said in between gasps for breath)
Maryam: If I'm not distracting.
Granger: Hi Maryam!
TothicNinewood: Says to others: "we found trouble. Something going on on the west side of town. Let's go."
* SaraFoster readies her shield and spells and follows.
* Poppy's eyes light up at the opportunity to KICK SOME A...uh...DO SOME GOOD!
SaraFoster: lol
TothicNinewood: :)
* Poppy readies her shortbow
Granger: "May I trouble you to take point as we travel into danger, Mr. Ninewood?"
TothicNinewood: "Fine."
Granger: "I, of course, will be close behind, ready to retaliate against any evildoer with a variety of potent magics."
TothicNinewood: "excellent."
TothicNinewood: _We head West_
TalkingDog: You follow Tothic's ears to a guard, sitting against the high wall of one of the larger graveyards, where important people tend to end up. A chain holds the doors closed. The guard is completely out of breath.
TothicNinewood: "What happened?"
TalkingDog: This part of town tends to be vacant most of the time. There are a bunch of residential homes and some temples, but not a lot goes down here, normally.
* Poppy looks around the area for anything suspicious while the warriors converse
SaraFoster: "Has anybody been hurt?"
Granger: I visually inspect the guard for injuries.
TalkingDog: Guard: "There's someone in there. Someone's waking the dead. I had to... kill... I couldn't."
TalkingDog: Granger rolls a Wis Medicine check.
SaraFoster: "W-waking the dead . . ."
Poppy: "Oh, dear..."
SaraFoster: Sara peeks through a crack in the door or something.
TothicNinewood: {how tall is the wall?}
Granger: "Worry not, my good constable! We represent a small fellowship of concerned citizens glad to assist you in this matter!... Right, everyone?"
* Poppy gulps
SaraFoster: (Granger, roll your dice, lol)
Poppy: "r...right..."
Revan has entered.
TothicNinewood: "yeah"
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+3: 5 = 5, modified by 3 = 8
TothicNinewood: "how did you get out?"
TalkingDog: "My friend Retto went in. He closed the crypt, but something bit him, and he... I think he's..."
TothicNinewood: {How tall is the wall?
TalkingDog: The wall is a good 9' tall.
Granger: "I have determined that this man is *probably* not yet undead!"
TalkingDog: Riches are probably buried with some of them.
Revan: So, I got out of work early.
SaraFoster: "I'm so sorry," Sara tells the guard sympathetically.
TothicNinewood: Is ther a lock on the chain?
SaraFoster: (Guys, remember to give TD enough time to read and respond)
TalkingDog: No lock. Just an short sword through some of the links.
* Poppy steadies herself, remembers her promise to always do her best to help others
TalkingDog: Granger finds nothing seriously wrong with the guard. A few cuts, maybe.
TalkingDog: Nothing he can't take.
TothicNinewood: "Are you all ready?" he asks his companions
Poppy: "Don't you worry, good sir. Whoever--or whatever--did this to you...they're gonna be sorry."
Poppy: *to you and your friend
Granger: "Anyone have any last preparations before we charge into the breach?"
SaraFoster: "Tothic, if I stand on your shoulders, I could see over the wall," Sara suggests.
TalkingDog: Guard: "Be careful. They're tougher than they look."
Granger: "Or you could give Poppy a toss!"
TalkingDog: hehe
* TothicNinewood gets his shield on his left arm and his sowrd in his right hand
Poppy: {Are we all wearing our armor? I saw something in the PDF about donning/doffing}
Poppy: "HEY!"
TothicNinewood: {my armor is already on, yeah?}
SaraFoster: "M-maybe even hit them w-with my crossbow?" Sara's voice gets quieter as she sees Tothic isn't listening.
Granger: "What, I bet you could land on the top of the wall and see everything!"
TothicNinewood: "Good plan Sara."
TalkingDog: It takes 1 minute to put on light aromr, 5 minutes for medium, and 10 for heavy. You have time to get ready.
* TothicNinewood leans against wall with back to Sara, ready for her to climb.
Poppy: Okay...well I'll go ahead and don, then.
SaraFoster: Sara makes sure her armor is on, then climbs up Tothic with her crossbow to see over.
Poppy: While they do their circus thing.
SaraFoster: Do I have to roll for that? hehe
TalkingDog: If Sara's going to climb, she gets advantage on her Str Athletics check.
SaraFoster: ooh cool
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20-1: 2 = 2, modified by -1 = 1
TalkingDog: oof. One more try.
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20-1: 1 = 1, modified by -1 = 0
SaraFoster: HAHAHA
Granger: "Oh dear."
Poppy: LOL
Maryam: ouch
Poppy: woops?
TothicNinewood: lol
* SaraFoster just can't get up Tothic. Oh well. She slides off sheepishly.
Granger: Can I roll a Dex check to try and catch her if she falls?
TalkingDog: Ouch. Fortunately, Tothic isn't tall enough to be taking fall damage.
* TothicNinewood looks at Sara and then Dons his Armor.
Poppy: Okay. Maybe we should toss me after all.
* SaraFoster keeps her crossbow out and suggest the guard lock the chain behind them when they go through.
TothicNinewood: "Poppy. Just climb up and see if you can peek over."
Poppy: ""
* TothicNinewood readies to be climbed.
* Poppy climbs up Tothic
TalkingDog: hehehe. Throwing Poppy is... what the heck kind of check?
SaraFoster: LOL
TalkingDog: Oh, okay.
Poppy: Oh, are we throwing me?
Poppy: lol
TalkingDog: Whatever you want to do.
Granger: If she's standing on tippy-toes on his shoulders, will that be high enough?
TalkingDog: What's your combined height?
TothicNinewood: ^
Poppy: Well, I've got Acrobatics, which is a Dex check, which is my main stat...
TothicNinewood: I'm 5' 10"
Revan has left.
Poppy: AGH I didn't figure my height
Granger: She could mantle to the top of the wall from that height.
Granger: Average halfling size is 3'.
Poppy: I'll say 3' then.
SaraFoster: She could reach the top of the wall and pull herself up.
TalkingDog: If you want to roll it randomly, there's a table. if you want to cheat and say you're 3'2", I'll allow it.
Poppy: I could do that, yeah.
Poppy: Okay, 3'2".
TalkingDog: hehe
SaraFoster: lol
Poppy: lol
Poppy: :)
TothicNinewood: yay!
TalkingDog: Okay, so I'm gonna say it's a Dex Acrobatics check for Poppy to stay up on Tothic's shoulders. No advantage.
Poppy: So, 20+dexmod+prof?
TalkingDog: It's an easy enough check. DC 10.
TalkingDog: Right.
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+5: 11 = 11, modified by 5 = 16
TalkingDog: +5
Granger: Remember halfling luck too.
Granger: If you roll a one on an attack, ability check or saving throw, you get to reroll once.
Poppy: Oh yeah, cool.
TalkingDog: That'll do it. You look over and see corpses up and stumbling around. No particular race. But you count 5 of them. The door to the crypt on the left has something leaning up against it, holding it shut.
Poppy: eek
* Poppy shudders involuntarily, nearly losing her balance
Poppy: Can I not see what's leaning on the door?
TothicNinewood: "What do you see?"
TalkingDog: Granger, you feel like someone is rummaging around in your bag.
Granger: !
SaraFoster: I think the other guard got the Big Bad shut in the crypt and wedged the door shut, but then he turned into a zombie 'cause he'd already been bitten.
Granger: I check my bag!
TalkingDog: You find a scarab corpse wiggling around.
Poppy: "They're...they're dead...but they're walking around...five of them..."
SaraFoster: !!!
Granger: "Mortie! Mortie! You're alive!"
TalkingDog: You quickly note the number of graveyards around you that have low fences.
TothicNinewood: "Come down."
Granger: "Or... ah, mobile, at least."
TalkingDog: I was so happy when you rolled that bug.
SaraFoster: LOL
Granger: I close my bag and cinch it up tightly.
* Poppy scrambles down from Tothic's shoulders
SaraFoster: "I don't think the corpses are the main problem"
Granger: "I do believe that whatever necromantic spell is disturbing the rest of our former neighbors is still in effect."
SaraFoster: "Something in that crypt is waking dead things, but it seems to have an influence that is spreading from it, even though it is trapped."
TothicNinewood: "So, something we can't see is waking the dead all over town?"
TalkingDog: Guard: "There are at least two of them," says the guard after catching his breath. "Cultists of one of the undesirable western gods, I'm sure. Something about their faces was terrifying, but I couldn't say what."
TalkingDog: "And there's that other creature. Like the other ones but stronger."
Granger: "Most of that will be rats and bugs, or things on the butcher's block, but if it's also spread by the bite..."
SaraFoster: "W-what other c-creature?"
TothicNinewood: "Poppy, did you see one of the cultists in there?
TothicNinewood: "
Poppy: {Did I? Or just the corpses?"
Poppy: }
TalkingDog: You saw no cultists.
Granger: Yeah, just five zombies.
TalkingDog: "I don't know if it used to be a human or an elf or what, but it had pointed teeth and wasn't so dead in the brain."
Poppy: "I don't think so...just...dead, walking."
SaraFoster: "Ilo protect us . . ."
Granger: "So what happens if an undead rat bites someone? Do they turn too?"
TothicNinewood: "I think we need to find these cultists fast to stop them from raising any more dead. Then we can deal with the walking dead. What do you think?"
TalkingDog: If you like, you can choose which cardinal direction Ilo belongs to, if any.
* SaraFoster puts her crossbow away and opts for dagger and shield instead if they are going in the crypt.
Granger: Tothic: "Agreed!"
SaraFoster: What are the other directions for?
TalkingDog: I haven't precisely defined the north and south gods yet. Generally, the north gods tend to favor specific types of people. The southern gods probably don't.
Poppy: "Agreed, Mr. Ninewood sir!"
SaraFoster: South then. Ilo covers all in need.
TalkingDog: Oky.
TalkingDog: Sara knows about the undead well enough that she knows their bite doesn't change you. Usually.
TothicNinewood: "Please just call me Tothic. We need to find somewhere high so we can search for the cultists. Unless you have any better ideas."
Granger: "How will we enter? If we break down this chain, we must be sure to destroy all the undead at large lest they wander out into the town."
Poppy: "Well, I could probably pick off a couple closest to the door, if I get back up on your shoulders."
* SaraFoster sighs and pulls the sword linking the chains, and hands it to the guard. "Lock it behind us, please."
TalkingDog: One sec while I get my map ready.
Granger: Oh! I thought you meant breaking the chains with a blow from a sword.
TothicNinewood: "Wait. You just agreed that we should find the cultists first and they are not in the graveyard."
SaraFoster: The crypt is IN the graveyard, and that door is wedged shut to trap something in. The door of the graveyard is locked on the outside by a sword through the chains.
TalkingDog: Sara has it.
Poppy: ohhhh
Granger: Thanks!
SaraFoster: Nobody said the cultists weren't in the graveyard. They and the monster are trapped in the crypt, yes?
TothicNinewood: ohhhhhhh.
Granger: Yeah.
TothicNinewood: Poppy said no cultists
SaraFoster: Because they are in the crypt, which is a building in the graveyard
TalkingDog: Poppy saw none. The guard saw them though.
TalkingDog: He says they went into the crypt, and he and his buddies tried to chase them, but some razor-toothed humanoid creature chased them out.
TothicNinewood: "well, if they are in the crypt, let's go."
* TothicNinewood readies his shield and sword.
Granger: I think Sara just opened the gate for us.
* Granger readies his dagger.
SaraFoster: Unlocked, not opened. TD ready with map?
* Poppy switches over to the shortsword
TalkingDog: Almost.
SaraFoster: Poppy, if you keep your shortbow out, you can help keep the corpses off us until we get to the crypt, yeah? Just an idea.
TalkingDog: You guys will get a surprise round. Let me check if that's different from 4E real quick. Roll initiatives anyway. Straight Dex check.
Granger: You might still have use for the bow, depending on our foes' location.
TothicNinewood: {Who is wizard, Granger?}
SaraFoster: <yup>
Granger: Yes.
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+3: 5 = 5, modified by 3 = 8
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20+1: 6 = 6, modified by 1 = 7
SaraFoster: bleh
Granger: Don't worry, we'll save some for you.
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d20+2: 11 = 11, modified by 2 = 13
* Poppy switches back to the bow after a nod at Sara.
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+3: 8 = 8, modified by 3 = 11
Granger: I'd like to avoid using my level-1 spells before we see what's in that crypt, if I could.
Granger: Also, burning hands is quite effective in confined spaces.
TothicNinewood: I like it.
TalkingDog: Okay. Tothic's going first. The doors swing open, and the zombies barely notice. The nearest one is standing among the graves to the left, about 20' from the doors. There's one over to the right, and there's three further down. The crypt is about 50' from the doors.
* TothicNinewood goes in with shield raised about 10 ft and kneels providing cover for others to enter.
TothicNinewood: Sorry. goes in 10ft with shield raised
TalkingDog: At the far end are four small shrines to the four directions. The west one has been knocked over.
SaraFoster: Does Sara suspect maybe that has something to do with the spell that is waking the dead, and that righting it might be a thing they should do?
Granger: I think you have to wait until your turn to roll a check on that.
TalkingDog: It's possible it may offer a clue on what's happening, but knowing for sure would require a closer look.
SaraFoster: Are we all taking turns then TD
SaraFoster: ?
Poppy: Does Tothic moving in and kneeling count as his turn?
TalkingDog: Yup. If Tothic's done, then it's Poppy's turn.
Poppy: okay.
TalkingDog: I'm not sure what action the providing cover is, actually.
TalkingDog: If it doesn't make up an action in game terms, then you can take an action.
TothicNinewood: I think I'm done.
Poppy: If I were to take cover behind Tothic's shield, can I still fire an arrow? Or is that another action?
TothicNinewood: I want the team in before I get to business.
TalkingDog: I'll assume you take the Dodge action, then, in case anything tries to hit you.
Poppy: Or do you folks want to try to sneak to the crypt without engaging any of these things?
TothicNinewood: Me? Yes.
TothicNinewood: Let's get these first.
TalkingDog: On each character's turn, you get your race's movement to move with and you get one action. Plus one free minor action if needed, to perhaps switch weapons or open a door.
Granger: I think we can take 'em.
SaraFoster: We don't want them sneaking up behind us in the crypt.
TothicNinewood: So, yes. I move in, Kneel and take dodge action in case.
Granger: My turn?
TalkingDog: There are two rows of graves to the left with a row of trees behind them. You might be able to dart between the trees to get around to the back of the crypt entrance, if you wanted to.
SaraFoster: No, it's Poppy's turn still.
Poppy: In that case, I'll creep over to where Tothic kneels, take aim, and shoot at the corpse over on the left.
TalkingDog: Oky. You have a clear shot, so roll your attack. d20+Dex+2, probably.
Granger: Make your bow attack roll.
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+5: 12 = 12, modified by 5 = 17
TalkingDog: That hits. Roll damage.
Poppy: I'm gonna assume that's a hit. lol
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d6: 3 = 3
TothicNinewood: Whispers "Nice."
* Poppy winks at Tothic
Granger: Now is it my turn?
TalkingDog: The zombie takes an arrow in the shoulder. It doesn't seem bothered. It starts turning around slowly.
Poppy: ...oh dear
TalkingDog: The zombies go.
SaraFoster: "Uh-oh . . . you w-woke it up."
TothicNinewood: Where?
TalkingDog: The one Poppy just shot stumbles up to Tothic and tries to flail its arms upon his head.
SaraFoster: LOL
Granger: I think he means it's the zombies' turn.
Poppy: Okay. So, dart through the graves and make a mad dash for the back of the crypt? lol
TalkingDog: Oh, sorry. I forgot. Surprise round. The zombies are too shocked to take a turn this round.
TalkingDog: Granger goes.
SaraFoster: oh yeah!
Granger: Yay!
Granger: Can I get cover behind one of the tombstones in my 25' of travel?
TothicNinewood: Cast magic missle!
Granger: Tothic: Not enough darkness yet.
TothicNinewood: :)
SaraFoster: "I wonder if they zombies might not notice us if we don't attach them?" Sara says mostly to herself.
SaraFoster: *attack
SaraFoster: lol
TalkingDog: Sure can. Mind, there's a zombie on each side. There are three rows of graves to the right side, broken up by trees and benches.
Poppy: hrm. Maybe one of us can toss a pebble or something and see if they go for it?
Granger: Ah. I'll stay near the entrance with the others, then, with Tothic between me and the nearest zombie.
TalkingDog: Picking up a pebble is free, but tossing it would take up your action.
Granger: As my primary action, I cast fire bolt at the same zombie Poppy shot.
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+6: 5 = 5, modified by 6 = 11
TalkingDog: The fire bolt connects.
TothicNinewood: I thought you were saving spells. . .
Granger: Fire bolt is a cantrip. I can do that one all day.
TalkingDog: Cantrips are free. They're spells that are so simple for a wizard, he doesn't even have to study them.
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d10: 3 = 3
TothicNinewood: ohhhhhh
Granger: 3 fire damage, please.
Poppy: lol
* SaraFoster watches Tothic be all impressed by halfling wizardry
TalkingDog: The fire damages the zombie but burns away the arrow, which he seems to like.
Poppy: my arrow!
SaraFoster: lol
TalkingDog: You can only reclaim half used ammo, rounded down, anyway.
SaraFoster: My turn?
Granger: "Erm, sorry Poppy. I'll buy you a new one once we get out of this mess.
TalkingDog: Sara's turn.
Granger: "
Poppy: <I was literally JUST about to ask if I can get my arrow back, lol>
TothicNinewood: Wait, isn't the zombie they are attacking right in front of me trying to smack my head?
TalkingDog: Nah, I took that part back. He can't move yet.
Granger: Nope, that didn't actually happen.
Poppy: "No worries. At least you damaged him."
Granger: We have surprise on them for this round.
TothicNinewood: {oooh. k}
SaraFoster: Where are the zombies in relation to the shrines?
TalkingDog: One zombie is right by the southern shrine, the one closest to you. The others are maybe 25' from them.
SaraFoster: How close can I get to the shrines in my move?
TalkingDog: You can move 30', and they're 50' away. You can use your action to get 60' instead, if oyu want, but you're likely to have a zombie on you if you do.
TalkingDog: Oh, sorry. Wrong number.
TalkingDog: The nearest shrine is 80' away.
SaraFoster: Sara REALLY wants a closer look. . .
TalkingDog: I think I rotated the map wrong in my head. The western one is the left one.
* TalkingDog rotates the map in the image.
TalkingDog: She can't get there in one turn. Better not to run all the way yet.
SaraFoster: If all the cover is on the left, Sara runs for the cover to get closer to the shrines and see if that might be part of the trouble. Can I say she uses Sacred Flame if she's attacked, but doesn't see a need to call attention to herself by attacking first?
TalkingDog: Hmm, not if you're going to use the hide action.
SaraFoster: Well we'll take the chance then. She runs and uses the hide action. "I'm going to get a closer look at those shrines," she tells the others first.
SaraFoster: I realize this is a bad idea considering how she's been rolling SO far, but . . .
TalkingDog: Oky-doke. Roll Dex Stealth then.
[RinkChat] User SaraFoster rolls 1d20+1: 13 = 13, modified by 1 = 14
SaraFoster: Oh that's better than I expected.
Granger: Man, I wish I had known you were going to strike off on your own; I could have given you mage armor.
TalkingDog: You're pretty sure you've evaded the inattentive zombocoms.
SaraFoster: hooray!
TalkingDog: Round 2, back to Tothic.
Granger: We at least have to deal with the one we skewered and roasted.
TalkingDog: The zombie in front of you is looking pretty crispy.
TothicNinewood: OK. assuming the nearest Zombie is within range. I run up and hack it's head off (as quietly as possible)
TothicNinewood: *zombie on the left
SaraFoster: brb potty break can't be helped sorry
SaraFoster is away.
TothicNinewood: LOL - In the middle of killing zombies?
TalkingDog: You hop the nearest gravestone like an olympic hurdle and swing away.
Poppy: LOL...I'm trying not to get a mental image of her hiding behind the gravestones.
TalkingDog: hehe
TothicNinewood: {what do I roll?}
Granger: For a longsword attack?
TalkingDog: Str+2.
TothicNinewood: Yup.
Poppy: Doesn't he have axes?
Granger: 1d20+str. modifier+2
Granger: He does, but he's got his sword & board out at the moment.
Poppy: Oh, right.
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d20+5: 4 = 4, modified by 5 = 9
TothicNinewood: ewwwwwww
Poppy: *whoosh!*
TalkingDog: It still hits.
TalkingDog: These zombies have rotten flesh for armor.
Poppy: I mean
Poppy: *THWAK*
Granger: Zombie = not dextrous. Now roll damage!
TothicNinewood: d6?
TalkingDog: Your longsword damage is 1d8+Str.
[RinkChat] User TothicNinewood rolls 1d8+3: 6 = 6, modified by 3 = 9
TalkingDog: I forgot Poppy's dex bonus on the damage. Oops.
TalkingDog: Either way, the zombie is...
Poppy: d'oh!
TalkingDog: Still up. You don't know how, but it's not dead.
Granger: Blast!
Poppy: grr
TothicNinewood: Is head off or neck just mostly cut?
TalkingDog: You think the blade should have gone right through, but it didn't. It make take another swing, but now it's Poppy's turn. You have movement left if you want to move away, but the zombie would get an opportunity attack if you do.
TalkingDog: *might take
TothicNinewood: Um. Then I just brace for counter attack.
Poppy: That's it. I grab my sword and stab away.
TalkingDog: stabby tiiime
Poppy: wooo stabbity stab stab
TothicNinewood: :)
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+5: 10 = 10, modified by 5 = 15
TalkingDog: If you have a way to score advantage, you'll get your sneak attack damage.
Poppy: How do I know if I can do that?
SaraFoster is back.
* SaraFoster reads what she missed
TalkingDog: Advantage can come from player abilities or it can come from clever RPG. Using the environment to get one up on the enemy.
TalkingDog: *RP
Poppy: hmm
Poppy: Can I sneak around behind him?
Granger: Remember, as a halfling, you can go through creatures of a larger size with your nimbleness.
Poppy: Or that?
Poppy: (thanks!)
TalkingDog: I think you can only move through creatures two sizes larger, which the zombies aren't. I'm not sure though.
Granger: No, it says "of a size larger than yours"
TalkingDog: Ah, okay then.
Poppy: Okay. So now I'm behind him, then?
Poppy: Or is that roll?
Poppy: *a roll
TalkingDog: I'm not sure how much of an advantage you can score by running under him or whatever. You can get behind him, though. I know 5E has no flanking, but you can flank, and for fun, I'll say you get advantage for it.
Poppy: woo, flank!
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 1d20+5: 6 = 6, modified by 5 = 11
TalkingDog: You hit, and you get your sneak attack.
Poppy: yeeees
[RinkChat] User Poppy rolls 2d6: 3 + 4 = 7
Poppy: Forgot the modifier. Do both dice get the omd?
Granger: Don't forget your dex modifier!
Poppy: *mod
TalkingDog: You get the mod only once.
Poppy: lol, I'll get the hang of this eventually!
Granger: No, it's added after the dice.
Poppy: Okay. So 7+3?
TalkingDog: Right.
Poppy: BOOM. stab.
TalkingDog: Poppy slices in the right spots to keep it from moving again.
SaraFoster: Just like Meridoc and the Witch-King of Angmar!
Poppy: For 10 damage and great justice.
TalkingDog: The other zombies are like "Can we go now?" And then they go.
SaraFoster: LOL
* Granger gives a little silent cheer.
TothicNinewood: :)
Poppy: LOL! Yay!
SaraFoster: Just as you said that, the stormtrooper music came
SaraFoster: DUN DUN DUN dunDAdun dunDAdun
TothicNinewood: So, Zombie not "dead" but immobilized?
Poppy: LOL
TalkingDog: The zombie on the right shambles over to Granger and swings its bony hand.
Granger: "Eek!"
TalkingDog: 11.
SaraFoster: ow?
TalkingDog: 11 vs AC.
Granger: Damage?
TalkingDog: Hitting for 4 bludgeoning damage.
Granger: Ow.
Granger: HP at 6.
SaraFoster: That's some powerful smack.
Granger: That and I'm wearing no armor.
Poppy: He's all squishy :(
SaraFoster: lol
Granger: Oh, wait, I was supposed to roll 1d20 there to see if I took the hit?
Granger: And then add the AC to that?
TalkingDog: Maybe? What was that again?
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20: 18 = 18
Granger: To the 11 vs AC?
TalkingDog: I mean, what's that 1d20?
Granger: Nevermind.
Poppy: {I'm gonna have to probably go after this encounter, folks}
TalkingDog: That's okay. I was aiming to be done around now anyway.
Poppy: Oki doki. :)
TalkingDog: The game will speed up when everyone knows what they're doin'. Myself included.
Poppy: hehe
TalkingDog: The other zombies shamble 40' each but make no attack. They're running toward Poppy, but only one gets in close. Granger's turn.
Poppy: ack
TalkingDog: Granger has zombie problems. If he moves carelessly, the zombie will take a swing.
SaraFoster: eek
Granger: If I move away, I get an attack of opportunity.
Granger: Or the zombie gets one on me.
TalkingDog: Right.
TalkingDog: To the second part.
Granger: And if it's still standing when it gets a turn again, it will probably attack me again.
TalkingDog: If you have a melee spell, this is the time.
Granger: I do have burning hands.
TalkingDog: You should get that check out. lolololololo
TalkingDog: *checked
TalkingDog: Spedifically, medicine checked. heyoooo
TothicNinewood: hehe
SaraFoster: LOL
Poppy: lol
TalkingDog: I brought the corn. Anyone want some?
SaraFoster: hahaha
Granger: I cast that in such a way as to hit the zombie in melee range and any others that might be within its 15-foot-cone area of effect.
Granger: LOL
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 1d20+6: 11 = 11, modified by 6 = 17
TalkingDog: The other zombies are 25' away, unfortunately.
TalkingDog: Sorry, 20'.
Granger: Drat.
TalkingDog: Is this one you roll for?
Granger: What Is the "one" you're referring to?
TalkingDog: Spell. It's an area spell, which usually means it uses your spell DC.
Granger: The zombie? Closest one. In melee range.
Granger: Yeah, that's the one I just rolled.
TalkingDog: You don't roll your spell DC. It's constant.
Granger: Uh? Okay.
TalkingDog: You wrote it down. It's 14.
Maryam: (bye!)
Maryam has left.
TalkingDog: The zombie rolls against it.
Granger: You mean the spell save?
TalkingDog: Right.
TalkingDog: It's the save that others have to hit to dodge your magics.
Granger: Okay?
Granger: I understand.
TalkingDog: Burning hands uses that instead of an attack roll.
TalkingDog: He got a 1.
TalkingDog: Set him on many fires.
SaraFoster: crispy zombie!
Poppy: lol
[RinkChat] User Granger rolls 3d6: 3 + 6 + 6 = 15
TothicNinewood: woot.
Poppy: zombie flambee!
Poppy: er, flambe
Granger: Zamby flamby.
TalkingDog: Wow, here's some luck. I'm gonna reveal the zombie's secret trait.
TothicNinewood: Wait. If fire no stop zombie, then Flaming Zombie attack!
SaraFoster: woot!
Granger: Tothic: Don't give him ideas!
Poppy: lol
Granger: What's the secret of the zombie?
TalkingDog: Zombie fortitude: When a zombie takes killing damage, it makes a Con save vs. 5+Damage. In this case, 20. It rolled a 20+0.
TalkingDog: The zombie lives, but he is lookin' seriously burnt.
SaraFoster: In other words, we can incapacitate them, but they don't "die"?
Granger: So it's left at 1 HP?
TothicNinewood: {I don't really follow what all that means.}
TalkingDog: Right. Instead of dying, it falls to 1 HP.
TalkingDog: It had a 5% chance of surviving.
Granger: No, it just gets a chance to not die.
TalkingDog: But yeah, the first one's dead dead.
SaraFoster: hehe ok
TothicNinewood: Ooohhh. k.
TalkingDog: Does Granger want to move?
Granger: Can I move behind Tothic without incurring an AoO?
TalkingDog: Any movement outside of the zombie's reach will provoke.
TalkingDog: You're already as close to him as you can get.
Granger: Him = zombie or Tothic?
TalkingDog: Tothic.
TalkingDog: Without leaving the zombie's reach, I mean.
Granger: Ah.
TothicNinewood: I moved away to slice zombie.
Poppy: What's AoO?
Poppy: Area of...Oranges?
TalkingDog: Attack of Opportunity. I call them opp. attacks or oppies.
Granger: Well, I guess I'm going to stay where I am, and hope for the best, then.
Poppy: I was all wrong. hehe
TalkingDog: hehe
TalkingDog: Sara's turn, and then we'll break for tonight?
Granger: An area of oranges sounds delightful.
Poppy: I guess that would be an orchard?
TothicNinewood: Sounds good.
Poppy: TD: Sounds good.
SaraFoster: Sara sees the zombies are all after Poppy (haha) so she's going to make another dash for the shrines.
Granger: Okay.
Poppy: lol
Granger: CLERICS SHOULD SUPPORT THE PARTY
TothicNinewood: boo.
Poppy: lol!
TalkingDog: There's enough cover between you and the zombies to move unseen your full speed.
SaraFoster: Sweet! Can she reach the shrines and see what's up? (Better be worth it)
TalkingDog: She's still about 15' short.
SaraFoster: This Cleric doesn't see the point in supporting a party who are dumb enough to go around attacking zombies before consulting with the resident cleric who might know something about them. :P
SaraFoster: Can she see that far? Any clues?
TothicNinewood: Well? Tell us.
* Granger grumbles "I hope my corpse eats your brains."
SaraFoster: And yell across the graveyard and call attention to herself?
TothicNinewood: You knew we were going to attack. Don't be indignant.
SaraFoster: psh.
TalkingDog: She doesn't have an action left to do any investigation yet, but she does see that the shrine wasn't knocked over by accident. The little statue present at the three other shrines has been pulverized at the western shrine.
TothicNinewood: You could have said before.
SaraFoster: I'm not indignant. I'm taking advantage of the situation.
SaraFoster: Gah.
TalkingDog: Okay. All files saved and stuff yay.
SaraFoster: Okay, anything else she can do?
SaraFoster: Oh, nope. Alright.
TalkingDog: Characters mostly get one action per turn, other than moving.
TalkingDog: She used her action to double-move in that one.
SaraFoster: Right
* Poppy ponders sneaking back out of the graveyard with the other two and leaving the smartypants cleric to fend for herself
SaraFoster: LOL
TalkingDog: hehe
Poppy: :D
SaraFoster: That was not an in-character conversation!!
SaraFoster: No quotes!
TalkingDog: sillies
Poppy: lol
SaraFoster: You can't use out of character hurt feelings to get mad at my character :P
TothicNinewood: So, we have to be done for tonight?
SaraFoster: And now she has possibly valuable information, and you are all still alive, whiners ;)
TalkingDog: I think so.
SaraFoster: Poppy said she had to go.
Granger: For the moment.
SaraFoster: YAY fun game!
TothicNinewood: :(
TalkingDog: I want to aim for 2 hours and change each time anyway.
SaraFoster: Oh I'll come back and heal people.
Poppy: Sorry, I gots employment in the morningtime.
TothicNinewood: Thanks TD the omnicient DM!
Poppy: And getting a bit delirious anyway, hehe
TalkingDog: That was fun, I think.
Poppy: Yeah, thanks TD!
SaraFoster: It was fun! Thanks!
TalkingDog: Welcomres.
TalkingDog: Welcomers!
SaraFoster: lol
Granger: Thanks for getting this all together!
TothicNinewood: By the time we are done with the adventure, I;m sure I'll have figured out how to play.
SaraFoster: When do we play again? *bounces*
Poppy: Me too, Tothic, lol
TothicNinewood: Yes, when?
TalkingDog: Do we want to shoot for every Monday, minus occasional schedule conflicts?
Poppy: Works for me.
SaraFoster: Works for me?
Granger: Sure, let's try that.
TalkingDog: We can change it up as needed.
Poppy: Yay gaem nihgt!!
TalkingDog: woot
TalkingDog: I never thought I'd get a game together in here.
Poppy: You done did it. :D
TalkingDog: I tried for freakin' years. Heh.
SaraFoster: Success!
Poppy: hehe
TothicNinewood: I can do Wed. this week and Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur next week.
SaraFoster: Granger can't do Wednesdays.
Granger: Wed. Is out for me.
TalkingDog: Next is Monday then, unless something comes up.
TothicNinewood: I'll plan for Monday.
TothicNinewood: (too far away)
SaraFoster: We have a pwan!
SaraFoster: Night Sessie!
Poppy: Woohoo!
TothicNinewood: hehe
Poppy: Night Goosey and everyone!
TothicNinewood: Night, fair Poppy.
Granger: Goodnight!
* Poppy HUGS all the TD&Ders!
* SaraFoster changes back into her Goosey clothes.
* SaraFoster HUGS Poppy!
* TalkingDog HUGS teh hug yay!
Poppy: lol
Poppy: g'night :)
Poppy has left.
* TalkingDog's brain starts to fall apart after D&D games. This is normal.
SaraFoster has left.
Granger has left.
TalkingDog has left.
Goosey has entered.
Goosey: Have fun?
TalkingDog has entered.
TothicNinewood: yes. Just not enough time playing. I was prepared to go till midnight.
* TalkingDog comes back in a janitor's uniform. "World's closed, guys." The zombies shamble to clock out.
Goosey: LOL
* TalkingDog is being a silly.
TothicNinewood: lol.
